Important safety notice on the advisory-only nature of AFRA and pilot responsibility.
By accessing AFRA, creating an account, uploading documents, generating assessments, viewing recommendations, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following.
1. Decision Support Only
AFRA is a decision-support platform only. AFRA does not provide flight dispatch services, operational control services, air traffic services, regulatory approval, aircraft airworthiness approval, flight release authorization, safety certification, pilot qualification verification, maintenance certification, legal advice, or aviation consulting services.
AFRA is not an aviation authority. AFRA is not a flight operations center. AFRA is not a substitute for pilot judgment.
2. No Flight Authorization
AFRA never authorizes, approves, dispatches, releases, certifies, validates, endorses, or guarantees any flight.
Any Go decision, Caution decision, No-Go decision, risk score, readiness score, safety score, recommendation, warning, trend analysis, or predictive analysis is informational only. Such outputs must never be interpreted as permission to conduct a flight.
3. Pilot Responsibility
The Pilot in Command remains solely responsible for flight planning, route planning, alternate planning, weather analysis, NOTAM review, fuel planning, weight and balance, aircraft performance, density altitude considerations, airspace compliance, regulatory compliance, operational risk management, Go / No-Go decisions, and safe operation of the aircraft. No responsibility is transferred to AFRA.
4. Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer
AFRA may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, OCR technology, predictive analytics, automated classification, statistical models, and third-party AI providers. AI-generated outputs may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, hallucinations, misinterpretations, outdated information, or incomplete information. Users must independently verify all information before relying on it.
5. Document Disclaimer
AFRA may automatically extract information from uploaded documents. The User remains solely responsible for verifying licence details, medical validity, ratings, certificates, aircraft documentation, insurance information, maintenance records, and expiration dates. AFRA does not guarantee the correctness of extracted information.
6. Data Storage Disclaimer
AFRA is not an official records repository. Users remain solely responsible for maintaining original copies and backups of licences, medical certificates, aircraft records, insurance records, assessments, compliance documents, and operational documents. AFRA does not guarantee permanent storage, retention, preservation, or recovery of uploaded documents.
7. Third-Party Data Disclaimer
AFRA may utilize information from third-party providers, which may include weather information, airport information, runway information, terrain information, mapping information, and regulatory information. AFRA does not control such data and cannot guarantee its accuracy or availability.
8. Assumption of Risk
The User acknowledges that aviation activities involve substantial risks including property damage, financial loss, serious injury, permanent disability, and death. The User voluntarily assumes all risks associated with aviation operations and use of AFRA.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AFRA and Causal Ventures FlexCo shall not be liable for flight incidents, accidents, aircraft damage, personal injury, death, operational losses, regulatory violations, insurance disputes, financial losses, data loss, or cybersecurity incidents. All aviation decisions remain solely with the User.
10. User Acknowledgement
By clicking "I Agree", I acknowledge and agree that:
- AFRA is a decision-support tool only.
- AFRA does not authorize, approve, release, dispatch, or certify flights.
- All aviation decisions remain solely my responsibility.
- AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete.
- I will independently verify all information before use.
- AFRA is not responsible for my operational decisions.
- I assume all risks associated with aviation activities and my use of AFRA.
